Does the amount of sweat I produce equal to the amount of effort I give? Because I work out 3 times a week and sometimes for the same exercise set I don't sweat as much.
Its normal, I don't sweat as much when doing the same set of exercise, don't worry. excessive sweating can signify a medical problem (such as an overactive thyroid gland) so there nothing to worry about, you just worry if:
sweating can be annoying in two ways.
The sweat may show on your clothes (for example at the armpits) or give you embarrassingly sweaty palms.
You may be worried about the smell of the sweat. Sweat is not smelly itself (except the pheromones, which are so subtle that we are not consciously aware of smelling them), but it quickly becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. These bacteria break down sweat to produce fatty acids. It is these fatty acids that have the acrid, penetrating, pungent, 'stale sweat’ smell. Arm and groin sweat is particularly rich in protein – a favourite of bacteria. Sweat from other parts of the body is saltier and less hospitable to bacteria. This problem can be approached in two ways: sweating itself can be prevented; or the bacteria that cause the smell can be attacked
Effort has something to do with it. Do you sweat more when you walk or do you sweat more when you run? Basically, when you work your muscles more intensely, they need more oxygen to continue working at the new increased level of intensity, so you begin breathing harder, sending more oxygen into your blood and to your muscles, when your muscles are working hard, they produce heat, your body cools itself be dilating the blood vessels nearest to the skin and sweating, the sweat evaporates and cools the blood thus lowering the body temperature. To answer your question, an increase in respiratory rate is a better indicator of increased effor. Sweat is a consequence. You can bust your butt and not sweat much if you are dehydrated. Also, know this, the sooner and more profusely you sweat, the more fit you are. Odd, but true. It means you are conditioned to respond to increases in effort quickly. That is a good thing. This is only relative to you though. Someone who is out of shape may sweat more than someone in great shape, while performing the same task, if the two are of very different body types, etc.
Why Do I Sweat
OK I've been sweating so much since the past three years, and I don't really know why. But. I have an idea as to why I sweat. I get nervous, and anxious a lot because I keep thinking of sweating, and so I sweat. I keep obsessing about it, and I just can't get it off my mind. Those who suffer like me,
Hey you don't sweat only donkeys do you perspire hehehe. jokes apart, humans perspire to maintain to keep the temperature of our internal thermostat set to an average, normal temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Our bodies come fully equipped with a temperature center in the brain, which consists of a control center, a heating center, and a cooling center.
Our bodies use approximately 2,500 calories of our daily intake of calorie-laden food to fuel the body. This process, known as oxidation, burns the calories, producing enough heat to bring 25 quarts of water to the boiling point. Obviously, our bodies cannot tolerate this heat, which causes the temperature of the blood to rise dramatically, and the cooling center to springs into action.
The cooling center slows the calorie burning process, and dilates, or opens, the blood vessels in the skin to release the excess heat, and the fluid known as perspiration. The release of this fluid cleanses the body, as it pours through our pores, which consist of millions of tiny openings in the skin. Perspiration emerges on the surface of the skin in the form of tiny, microscopic droplets, which quickly evaporate, and cool the body to its normal temperature.
Evaporation of perspiration on humid days slows, and requires the assistance of manmade inventions, such as fans and air conditioners, to carry away the moist air, so our perspiration evaporates, and so our internal thermostat returns to it's normal setting of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Apparently, our cooling center is not self-sufficient
Sweating is increased by nervousness and nausea and decreased by cold. There are two kinds of sweat glands, and they differ greatly in both the composition of the sweat and its purpose:
Eccrine sweat glands are distributed over the entire body surface, but are particularly abundant on the palms of hands, soles of feet, and on the forehead. These produce sweat that is composed chiefly of water with various salts. These glands are used for body temperature regulation.
Apocrine sweat glands produce sweat that contains fatty materials. These glands are mainly present in the armpits and around the genital area and their activity is the main cause of sweat odor, due to the bacteria that break down the organic compounds in the sweat from these glands. This means that sweating is extremely common in the hand area and the armpit area. Normally if you carry excess body weight, you tend to sweat quite excessively around the armpit area.
Go see a doctor. There are things you can do to calm sweating, and if your sweating is in the armpits, there's even prescription deoderants that can help.

I am 16years old and I physically can't sweat and I do play sports from time to time and do a lot of work, but not with clubs so not as frequently, even if I get hot I do not sweat, why is this? And it's not that I don't have enough water because I drink lots of water daily due to I'm prone to acne
You're lucky, most people don't know this but the less you sweat, the healthier you are. You may not think that but your body temperature increases when you work out and stuff due to the hard work you put it through. You not sweating means that your body is not working so hard to do your activities. Dont worry about it.
At 16 i also didn't sweat unless it was a really sunny day and i was playing soccer.
