Hi I'm in my high school's track team and I've been running basically everyday for four years which I love. Running is a good way to tone your body but it won't do anything major. You will lose body fat my sister wasn't fat she was just very curvy and had some belly fat and with running she did loose some weight but her stomach didn't get tight and flat. You can try running at least 30 minutes a day which is good for your body overall but start off with 15 minutes and work your way up you don't want to make your body too tired all of a sudden. Also look up videos on YouTube they help a lot like "blogilaties" has great videos I do myself sometimes too. Also your diet will be major in trying to loose that belly fat if you have a slow metabolism. GOOD LUCK
